April 26 Hartwell Striped Fishing Report (need some fish)

Clear / windy / cooler / water temp 67 / storms over night

Went striper fishing with wife on Sunday for about 2 hours. Bought Bluebacks ; tied on light line and headed to the points. Starting marking fish immediately. Caught 10 or so striper and 6-7 spots and largemouth. Most fish including stripers came from down rods in about 25 foot of water on edge of drops. Had fun with it especially after yesterday.

Marked allot of fish but no real bait on the points. Bass had moved to the points after yesterday and were feeding well. Managed several between 2-3 pounds. Jigged on 3 and 1/2 pounder on jigging spoon in 30 foot after marking strong arcs on bottom. Found a good bite and my wife had a good time with it….

Book a trip today before the bad weather comes again.
